John Elliott is recognized as one of the world’s leading authorities in heavy oils processing supporting Foster Wheeler USA Corporation's design, procurement, construction, start-up and operation of refineries, including those utilizing Foster Wheeler's proprietary Selective Yield Delayed Coking (SYDEC) technology. He is one of Foster Wheeler USA’s most senior experts in refinery configuration planning and optimization.

Mr. Elliott has over forty years of process engineering experience at Foster Wheeler USA Corporation, including thirty-five years in the heavy oils industry. He authored several patents and has been published over twenty times in various publications. He graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering.
